On my way home tonight I waved at some guy on another bike and he reaches up and starts patting/slapping his helmet. Now I've only been back in the lower 48 about a year after spending 20 years in Alaska so I ain't quite sure if this guy was trying to signal something or if he was off his rocker. About five miles up the road there was a Constable taking out after a Merry Maid's van. Was slapping the side of the head a signal for the cop? 10,000 years back we would wave one finger in the air in a circular motion to indicate a cop. Things changed?
